Kit car page

The car started out as a standard kit from Tiger fitted with a 2 litre Ford Pinto engine and twin sidedraught carburetors, and in this form it produced about 100bhp at the wheels. It took a year from delivery of the kit until the car was on the road and fully legal.

Quick rack fitted in place of standard rack
Rear Suspension Standard Sierra back end
Normal Tiger mini dampers and coil springs replaced with Spax coilovers
Front Brakes Standard Sierra calipers with EBC Green Stuff Pads
Tarox G88 groved discs
Rear Brakes Standard 9" Sierra drum brakes
Interior Fully retrimmed in Maroon leathercloth with Grey carpet and transmission tunnel
Custom made seats replacing standard pad seats
Full trimmed and fitted dashboard
Instruments Full instrument set including Electronic Speedometer, Rev Counter, Fuel Gauge, Temperature Gauge, Oil Pressure Gauge
Windscreen Electrically heated windscreen with self timer function
